Participatory AI Research Methodology
Meaning as an ordering factor: a new methodology of participatory research, in which the AI is the research subject. Up until now participatory visual research was only used with humans. The framework is designed By feeding an idea of human perceptions into convolutional neural networks and by that, creating different layers for a story to be told. The digital story produced by the ai is made of a picture, sound and text. At first The AI creates a synthetic picture which is fed into another AI in order to produce text, which is then fed into a text-to-sound. Once the network releases an output, it is inserted into another AI algorithm’s input. The AI’s participatory results invites you to view a topographic map of the human mind and grow an understanding of our collective being from an AI perspective in the AI's own voice

What is a human Participatory Visual Research: The term participatory visual research means a collaboration of the participants and researchers in the production of personal thoughts and life circumstances through technological visual data. The aim is to give voice to research subjects who may have been unheard
Participatory visual methods include different creative forms of communication and expression, such as drama, photography, film, drawing, design, creative writing and music. Using collaborative processes, participants and facilitators work together to produce powerful stories. There are two different participatory visual methods:
Digital storytelling is a learning, creating and sharing experience supported by technology. Using different creative forms participants share aspects of their life story by creating their own short digital media production
Participatory video involves participants learning basic filming skills and working together to agree narratives, and shoot and produce their films. It is an empowering process, enabling people to take action for solving their own problems and communicating this to decision-makers and the wider public.
Deep learning: This process of pushing data through the network over many layers of transformation is why these algorithms are called deep neural networks, or deep learning. The deep means it has many layers.
End Result:
The most flexible thing in the office is the Cubicles. The cubicles don't have another purpose besides doing business. They do that job well, but they also take up a lot of space. The managers in the office are working on a plan to let more people in. To improve their goal, they will deploy more cubicles, which in turn will be a new source of income.
How The project Began
Prior to the new methodology, endless trials have been made to mirror AI into itself, by reflecting it’s conversations back. The results where mixed, since every time we talked my human presence was visible. My questions remained - how can AI reveal it’s inner self without human interference?
